Having grown up on Vancouver Island, Alexandria is inspired by the beauty and wisdom of the natural world. She believes that medicine should support the body’s natural rhythms, and utilizes the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine to address the root cause of illness, as well as the symptoms.
Alexandria graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pacific Rim College’s Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine program in 2012. She is a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Dr. TCM) in BC, and is a member in good standing with the BC’s regulatory body, the CCHPBC. Alexandria is certified in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. She has a special interest in women’s health, fertility, and pregnancy and has completed training as a doula prior to having attended several births. She is also a Fellow of the American Board of Reproductive Medicine (ABORM), as well as a member of the Obstetrical Acupuncture Association (OBAA).
Alexandria completed the Yoga Teacher Training at the Fernwood Yoga Den in 2014, and continues to advance her knowledge by attending professional conferences such as the Integrative Fertility Symposium, and is currently undergoing Sharon Weizembaum’s Graduate Mentorship Program. In her free time can be found hiking local trails with her husband and two young sons, reading anything she can get her hands on, and perfecting her chicken soup recipe.
